Artist Statement: A young mother holds her baby on a fresh new day. I paint from vintage photographs to give color, life, and beauty to old memories.
Artist Bio: I am Sarah, an artist and a mother of four girls. I have been drawing for most of my life, and really started to take it seriously when I was in high school. I discovered that I could draw, that I enjoyed it, and that I found it fulfilling. I soon discovered that art would be one of the most important and meaningful parts of my life.
I love to be able to express myself with lines and color through painting. I have been painting with mostly acrylic paint, but I also love oils.
