About the Artist: Nathan Mulford is a contemporary artist born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He grew up spending a lot of time in the outdoors. He grew to love art at a young age and took as many art classes as he could. He attended the University of Utah where he studied painting, drawing, and graphic design. He graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. After graduation he chose to pivot from graphic design to contemporary painting. Nathan's paintings reflect the environment he grew up in. He is interested in exploring the relationships we make with the landscapes we live in, how those relationships change over time, and what these relationships can teach us about our inner lives.
