Artist Statement: I don't have all the reasons why, but in the scriptures there are several mentions of honey. I wanted to represent God's love with the idea that He gave us sweet honey on this earth.
Artist Bio: I am a contemporary folk artist specializing in oil and acrylic painting, with occasional explorations in watercolor and other media. My work draws inspiration from themes of nostalgia, history, relationships, nature, and spirituality. Each piece is crafted with an emphasis on symbolism, color, pattern, and texture, which I use to convey the underlying message of the artwork.
A central goal in my work is to foster connection with others through color, pattern, and hope. Much of my art is retrospective, reflecting my belief that there is goodness in every experience. I am deeply drawn to the idea that light and hope persist, even in the most challenging or darkest of times. These themes of resilience and optimism are present in nearly all of my pieces, inviting viewers to find moments of brightness in their own lives.
