Artist Bio: Aria Osguthorpe is a writer and mixed media artist. She incorporates emotion and stories into her art through layers of various mediums including paint, ink, printmaking, and textile art. Osguthorpe studies folklore and culture in order to create pieces that use various symbols, both personally defined and broadly understood, to convey layers of meaning. Osguthorpe recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art from BYU and will begin a master’s degree in folklore this fall as she continues to build her creative practice and establish her art career.
