Artist Bio: Catherine Vogt is a local Utah artist who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Utah with an emphasis in painting and drawing in 2011. Since graduating, Vogt has worked in a variety of creative settings, from freelance to technical teaching, design, and art therapy. She finds exceptionally great reward in working with youth and feels that creating is an integral part of learning to be successful in navigating the world. Vogt loves to travel and grounds her work in the experiences and memories that tie each of us to the places we love. Her work is for those who derive joy and peace from being in nature and seek to bring those nostalgic feelings home to relive again and again.
