Artist Bio: My work explores emotion, memory, and the quiet complexities of human experience. Through layered imagery and expressive mark-making, I aim to create pieces that reflect both internal states and external environments. My practice is rooted in observation and personal reflection, often drawing from moments of stillness, discomfort, and transformation.
Just as I layer ideas, I also thrive on layering color and image within my work. Each painting is an exploration in which I focus on process and experimentation more than the final product. I find that the paint itself often guides the direction of each piece, creating a unique experience every time I bring a brush to canvas.
