Artist Bio: Kendra Adamson Burton was born in Washington and grew up in northern Utah. She studied art at Snow College and BYU-I, earning a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in drawing and painting in 2017. An Air Force wife, she and her family are often on the move, seeking beauty and adventure wherever they land. They are currently stationed in England. In the moments between raising her two girls, she enjoys drawing and painting portraits, birds, landscapes, and, occasionally, quilt block patterns! This group of paintings is a celebration of color and patterns and she hopes they bring joy to those who see them. Maybe one day she’ll be brave and make a real quilt, but for now she’ll just paint them.
