Artist Statement: Inner Altitudes explores the relationship between physical landscapes and inner experiences. Through layered texture, acrylic, and oil, mountains and atmospheric skies become reflections of memory, emotion, change, and the internal terrain we carry with us.
Artist Bio: Meghan Mae is a mixed-media artist creating atmospheric landscapes inspired by emotion, memory, movement, and the natural world. Working with acrylic, oil, and layered materials, she builds each piece through color, texture, and an intuitive process.
The paintings often feel like imagined or remembered places that are familiar without being tied to one specific landscape. Through shifting forms, layered surfaces, and atmospheric depth, her work explores the connection between the landscapes around us and the ones we carry within.
