Artist Statement: The Minoan series is an exploration of the human figure, color, and energy. Inspired by Gustav Klimt’s art and ancient design, I have attempted to compliment the fluidity and structure of the body with patterns and gold leaf.
Artist Bio: Sierra Cauble grew up in Southern Utah, exploring the red mountains with her trusty dogs and a grumpy sphynx cat. She loves exploring her new home in Utah Valley with her best friend, her husband. Sierra sees art as a unique tool for expressing beauty, love, pain, and devotion. Her work explores overlaps between the human and natural worlds, and how spiritually connects all.
