Artist Biography: Spencer Welch is a self-taught artist specializing in figurative and portraiture work. She enjoys working with multiple mediums and often bounces back and forth between artwork in the studio. Spencer often finds inspiration from her own life and the everyday mundane moments of motherhood. Many of her paintings depict her children and her family playing, sleeping, and living their daily lives. As an admirer of Impressionism and post-Impressionism artwork, Spencer’s paintings are very expressive and immersive with the use of color and brushstrokes.
