Solid Ground (0177) - There is a beauty in sagebrush that I had to learn. Sagebrush used to bore me, having lived most of my life at an age where I didn’t care. But when I started to paint it, I couldn’t help but fall in love with this strong, solid, steadfast little fighter of a bush. Sagebrush reminds me of home. It doesn't get more solid than that.
Even Now (0178) - This is what happens when Mount Timpanogos is ingrained on your soul. Without consciously intending to paint the mountain I grew up looking at, she emerged. I only recognized the likeness afterward. The title comes from the fact that in spite of my great tribulations the mountain has witnessed, I still love it. Always will. Even now.
Stay With Me (0179) - For every time you stared at the sky wishing a loved one was still with you, or for every lover of clouds who wishes they could reach out and touch them.

Artist Statement: The STAY WITH ME collection is inspired by awe, memory and nature. I have decided to dedicate it to my father, who was the prolific singer songwriter Bobby Caldwell. Each painting is named after a song he composed and wrote.
Artist Bio: I am an acrylic painter who focuses on those incredible moments of standing before a view that takes your breath away. I’m less interested in capturing the exact likeness of a place and more interested in translating the experience of being there into something tangible.
My paintings are layered, textured, and emotional—an attempt to hold onto those fleeting moments long after they’ve passed.
A wife, mother, and retired chef, I paint for joy, to remember God’s incredible artistry, and to give those memories somewhere to stay.
