Mother is a kind of garden, Eden is a kind of womb,
A womb is a kind of holy place, A temple is a place of nourishment
We are of the garden We are of a womb
We were safe in the garden We were safe in the womb, When will we partake, we wait, incubate
With in the safety of the womb
And we living partook And we living are partaking of the life imparted, of a garden womb.
We choose to be, she choose to let us through, Emerging from our mother’s garden
Umbilically connected to a kind of food
Both Womb and Temple and Eden are places where Heaven and Earth meet
Umbilical places of connection remembered, a holy temple, a holy body, a holy garden, a holy womb, an Eden Umbilicus.
Artist Biography: I use delicate curves of white string to capture the imagery of neurons and to create a cross-section of what our thoughts might look like. The designs loosely reference the idea of ink blot tests, in which a persons unconscious mind can be more understood by what they notice in an organic image.
