Artist Statement: The term "faith shelf" has often been used to describe a space where unanswerable questions go to rest, but what do you do when your shelf breaks under the weight of all your queries? And who do you turn to? This piece shows that even in the midst of collapsing, I've had to move my focus from maintaining the structure of my shelf to depending on Christ. The breaking can feel hopeless, but it can be a holy experience.
