Artist Statement:
This world is a beautiful and glorious place filled with so much good and also lots of not so good. We often experience many different things at the same time. The colorful parts of our painting represent this fact. We must reach for the good fruit. John 1:5 says "God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." The white fruit on our tree represents God's light and love for US. In Alma 5:34 the Lord God says "Come unto me and ye shall partake of the fruit of the tree of life" and in Revelation 22:2 it speaks of the "tree of life." Matthew 7:17 says "every good tree bringeth forth good fruit" and in 2 Nephi 2:16 it says "the Lord God gave unto man that he should act for himself." Reach for the good fruit. It will bring peace to your soul.
