As the storm quiets and the landscape is transformed, the lily serves as a reminder of Christ’s words: “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin” Through soft light and impressionistic brushwork, this painting invites viewers into a moment of stillness where faith takes root despite uncertainty. It reflects the quiet strength found in releasing fear and trusting that God is present, even before the storm has passed.
