Artist Statement:

We are all on a journey to discover eternal truth. Here, I chose to abstractly represent those that embrace their spiritual mountains and press forward towards a heavenly horizon. Their efforts become consecrated in the upward climb as they rely on God to strengthen them. I find it powerful and moving that the words "sacrifice and striving" transform into the words "Holiness to the Lord."

"These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat." (Revelations 7:14-16)

Artist Bio:

Ginger Dall Egbert is a mixed media artist who expresses faith, healing and sanctuary with her symbolic landscapes. She often incorporates metal leaf to create a feeling of spiritual transcendence. You can check out more of her artwork at @ginger.dall.egbert!

Ginger studied illustration and traditional oil painting at Brigham Young University, where she received her BFA. Since then, she has participated in many shows, including last year's "BIPOC Women of Utah" at the @jkrgallery, the Springville Museum’s Spiritual & Religious Art Show, the Certain Women Art Show, and the “Let’s Talk about Heavenly Mother” Art Show.
