Artist Statement: This painting was inspired by a glimmer in my parenting journey. It was a moment that lifted me out of the overwhelming weight of caring for little people while wondering if I was enough, and into a sense of joy and hope. The weight of parenting can be heavy, but watching children share moments of connection and support with each other replaces a bit of that burden with a glimmer of reassurance and optimism. Collecting these moments helps me keep going through the difficult times.
Artist Bio: Stephanie is a Canadian-born mom of 4. She loves to spend time outside, especially in the mountains, with the people she loves. She also loves to spend time in cozy solitude, painting and listening to audio books.
