Artist Statement: This was painted on a reclaimed panel, with a reclaimed frame, with paint from an artist who had passed away. The image and the process behind the piece are all about redemption. One of the hardest lessons many of us learn in love is to let go. Of our pride, of our need for certainty, and even sometimes of a relationship.
