Artist Bio: Amber Alvarez' upbringing on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, still influences her work today. She has her BFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Her art career includes her work as a designer and producer for animation, video games, children's fashion, magazines, and theme parks. In 2016 she relocated to Provo to open her own illustration studio. Her picture books are published with Macmillan and Lee & Low Books, and her freelance clients include Scholastic Entertainment, The Girl Scouts of the United States of America, and The Walt Disney Company.
