Artist Statement: This is a view from the Payson City cemetery, somewhere I often go to visit the place where my son is laid to rest. This painting is inspired from a photo I took on one of the first times where I really contemplated this landscape at which moment this incredible sunset rolled in. I was so happy to be there to capture this magnificent time of day, and to feel of the energy and peace it brings. I go back to visit this scene often.
