About the Artwork:

“What’s broken can be mended, what hurts can be healed, and no matter how dark it gets - the sun will always rise again.”

Did you know that triangles are the strongest shape? They can hold the most weight of weight of any shape. They also are a symbol of growth and a higher perspective.
Even more - equilateral triangles, like this one, are a symbol of deity and a connection to heaven.

This piece is a reflection of my life, my experiences, heart aches, insecurities, trials… and also what, and who, has helped me to mend myself and feel whole again.

There are times, we all can recall, when life is hard and heavy - when we have felt broken, vulnerable and unraveled. Some are rips that require lifelong mending, and some are smaller and haled more easily. Each color of string represents different people and relationships that mend our lives and our hearts.

These rips and their mending are what make us unique, add depth to our characters, fill our life with more beauty and shape us into who we are and what we can become.
