Artist Statement: As I've pondered why I became an illustrator, I wanted to take a closer look at the stories that made me, and one of my earliest memories is being infatuated with the story of Cinderella. This piece is an homage to my favorite turn-of-the-century illustrators and one of the main reasons I became a storyteller.
