About the artwork: "I recently visited the MET with my son for a fall visit to New York. I saw the painting, "Spring Blossoms", by George Inness that I found really intriguing. When I returned home, I saw a scene near my house when sunlight hit the trees on a bright fall morning. The effect reminded me again of the painting that mesmerized me on that trip. This style is different from what I normally incorporate, but I thought it would be something interesting to try in the spirit of "Turning a New Page".
