About the Artwork:
“Yoga” translated from its Sanskrit roots means unity with, or path to God. I wanted this piece to embody the idea that worship and relationship with the Divine comes in all shapes and sizes. In a world created by the light of Christ, I believe that light and truth have been tucked into every crevice, detail, religion, culture, and person found on it. The mandala is a symbol of wholeness, perfection and eternal life— as is my Savior Jesus Christ. I believe that by divine design, there are an abundance of personalized paths that can lead us back to our Heavenly Mother and Father. Much like the lines in a mandala point to the middle, I believe Christ’s Atonement is the central point where all righteous paths and pursuits converge, and that all things point to Him.
