About the Artwork: This work reflects my response to my mothers passing away. My mother struggled with OCD and was a hoarder. During the aftermath I sorted through the debris that were left afterwards. As i worked through These remnants of her life and i wove a metaphor that we can choose to see the beautiful patterns that emerge from the chaos when we Intentionally look at the positive aspects of peoples lives. If we look closely we can start to see the flowers emerge and ignore the noisy and chaotic.
