She floats in between the light and the dark. She inhabits the transitional times, like dawn and dusk. Her arm reaches heavenward and towards the earth. She can reconcile different ideas and bring peace.
Bio: Lovetta Reyes-Cairo earned her degree in education from BYU and also studied art at the Beaux-Arts Academy, along with other artist workshops. She received an honorable mention from the Springville Museum of Art’s 36th Annual Spiritual & Religious Exhibition in 2022, and her art has been featured in publications and galleries. She currently paints from her home studio where she lives with her husband, two sons, mom, their dog, and 16 fruit trees.
