Artist Bio: Brooke Bowen’s body of work represents a connection of the spiritual and natural world, visually encapsulating a broad range of influences—from religious texts, Middle-Ages tapestry and painting, Art Nouveau, and the California Impressionists. Growing up in the city of Sacramento, Brooke examines the subconscious influence of her religious upbringing as she venerates the earth.
