Similar to the moon that has a new phase, this painting symbolizes the changing circumstance and creation of a new beginning. Like the road in the wilderness and the rivers in the desert, it culminates in a new beginning, all together connected in the changing of a circumstance.
About the artist: Janine is a South African artist who currently lives in Norway. In her career as an artist, she has had the privilege of creating many artworks that adorn the homes of family and friends. Mostly her paintings have a Christ-centered message. Recently she has started a small online business - jesusandillustration.com, a creative space where she sells original paintings and prints of her most recent artworks. She has also published two of her digital paintings in Route 7 Review, Dixie State University’s annually published Online Literary e-journal.
When Janine is not painting or creating, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two little ones out admiring nature.
