Roots can be a powerful source of stability and strength for all living things. This piece uses base layers of soil and clay paired with complementary colors to honor the heritage of Western America. I hope as you view this artwork you feel a sense of your own roots and their prevalence in your life.
About the Artist:
Colter May is a husband, father, and local artist. He was born and raised in Montana, but has since put down roots in Virginia, Idaho and Utah. He is excited to be building a career as a wildlife artist and is grateful to be involved in the Provo art scene.
