Artist Biography: Born and raised in Italy, the first of my family to graduate from college, I earned an MBA from the University of Venice, Italy. In 2010, my journey led me to Columbus, Ohio, where I found the opportunity to pursue my artistic calling and I got to experience first-hand the transformative power of art.
I represent my fascination with the tapestry of nature, its subtleties of color and light, and the ever-shifting dance of forms and textures.
On an ongoing quest to seize the fleeting moments that inspire awe and a sense of unbreakable connection with the natural world, I hope my works inspire to actively safeguard the environment.
The start of a new painting is often random and unplanned. This abstract ground influences the subsequent layers and guides the thoughtful process of creating, one tweak at a time until I am happy with a recognizable scene.
I'm passionate about sharing what I've been learning with others, and I have authored many online articles published on Hubpages.com and other sites.
I am active in the local artistic community, being a committed member of several art leagues. I also serve as Art Coordinator at the Ohio State University Faculty Club.
