The symbol of the serpent above the cupped hand represents the Savior’s Atonement. The dichotomy of both Satan and Jesus metaphorically recorded as serpents fascinates me. It is a reminder that progression is made only when one has looked into the eyes of both personages. Sin and missing the mark are crucial to understand who Jesus Christ is.
