Artist Statement: Kylie Amber is a Utah based artist who works with acrylics, oils, and watercolor. Her subject matter consists of elements from nature and landscape to explore the energy of the earth. Amber incorporates phthalo green and blue into her work, which to her are colors that evoke emotions of both pain and peace. By using these colors, she portrays the dualism of life experiences where in which there is both heartache and magnificence and creates a world where they can coexist in magical ways.
