About the Artwork: The Repeal addresses the potential apocalypse of medical health care of female bodies in the United States should Roe v Wade be repealed. The potential for loss of life among women, the mandated forced birth, forced sterilization, denial of fertility treatment, lack of access to birth control, and the overall loss of bodily autonomy among female bodies would be catastrophic for the entire population, the economy, and civil rights. When half the population loses the right to govern their own bodies because of their own bodies, the society has lost its conscience.
