Artist Bio: In my quaint little home, with my husband and two children, after finishing graduate school, I could not make art emotionally. I felt like I would never make anything unique enough, profound enough, or skilled enough to be worth anyone's time. But, I missed painting. I chose to paint images of my children because it didn't matter if anyone else ever saw the paintings. I enjoyed them, and at least my children would appreciate them one day. However, here are some of my paintings on display. To me, these images savor and preserve the sweet moments of being both a child and a parent, despite the complexities and difficulties of raising children.
