Title: With God Nothing Shall Be Impossible (Mary Arose…and Went…With Haste)
Medium: oil on panel
Price: $4,200
Dimensions: 36 x 30 inches
Artist Statement: Luke 1: 37-39 words included: With God nothing shall be impossible And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste Behold the handmaid of the Lord Be it unto me according to thy word Visited by Angel Gabriel Mary learned she would conceive and bring forth, “…the Son of God”….and that with God, “…nothing shall be impossible.” Confident in God she declared, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me according to thy word.” Mary was moved to action. With out knowing the end from the beginning, she “arose” in those days. She “went”; and when she did it, she did it in “haste.” Be like Mary. PS. There are delphiniums that grow wild on the hills in Israel…and blue delphiniums. (According to what I have read online—“ For centuries, all over the world, blue flowers have symbolized peace, tranquility and serenity..”)
Artist Biography: I love color. I love to paint. I believe all things denote there is a God, thus my paintings may be of flowers or fruit, and yet I use these simple objects to testify off the Goodness and Grace of our Great God.
