Artist Bio: My name is Jeanne Gomm. I build stained glass projects and teach classes in that medium. I have noticed the joy and peace that students feel when they are learning. This is something I didn't expect when I started. I love the way light, color and texture come together in stained glass.
Artist Statement: I have been inspired by the phrase Fulfill the measure of your creation. To me that means to move and act with full purpose as we were meant to do. Stained glass is a vehicle in that process. I created this window to show that abundance comes from creative work. Glass comes from sand and food comes from the soil. I make something lovely from shards of glass. I attempt to inspire abundance in the artists I teach and the viewers who sees it.
