Artist Bio: Born and raised in the lush green of the Pacific Northwest, Anastasia Marie called the greater Rainier foothills and plateau area home for over 30 years before recently relocating to The Gem State: Idaho. She developed a deep passion for art and color from a very young age.
Inspired by memories of mountains and landscapes, she strives to capture the "essence of a moment" through her calming, semi-impressionist, atmospheric paintings, utilizing specific color palettes to offer the viewer a window to tranquility.
Anastasia Marie primarily works in fine acrylics and mixed media. Whether sourcing vintage frames or making her own, revitalizing them is an integral part of her current artistic process.
She is best known for her signature "Limitless Landscapes" painted frame pieces, which break barriers between tradition and expectations. These unique pieces take a familiar yet fresh modern turn by literally “overflowing” from the canvas onto the frames until they are entirely enrobed in color and accented by a minimalistic painted gold leaf border.
The first Limitless Landscape collection was released in 2021. Her latest body of work is: The 2025 Soft Summer Limitless Landscape Series, available through her website, www.anastasiamarie.com. She has released many collections over the years, with her original artwork finding forever homes all across the United States and Europe. She has sold her artwork independently for over two decades.
She is self-educated and creates from her studio while integrating art with motherhood, her nine children, health, and home life.
