About the Artist: Hi! My name is Bethany Allred, and I am a 23-year-old artist. I love to create art that is full of life and whimsy. I use color, pattern, and texture to bring my artwork to life. I am most drawn toward making mixed media and collage-style artwork – the idea of bringing together different pieces of life really gives me the feels.
About the Artwork: This pocket-sized town is a way to take home on the go. A way to find comfort when feeling the homesickness of leaving a place you feel safe. A reminder of a place of belonging even when that may be the opposite of what you’re feeling. And lastly, the reassurance that you will eventually return home.
