About the Artist: Brittany is a self taught artist who began experimenting with oil paints as a teenager. A career in cosmetology allows her to splash color on clients and canvases alike, and really develop a mind for color mixing science. Her favorite medium is oil, but she loves watercolor and acrylic. She's participated in local art festivals, had some of her paintings featured in published zines in Utah and California, and has illustrated four children's books. One of her hopes as an artist is to encourage viewers to see something familiar in unfamiliar ways. The loves of her lives are her husband and four children.
