About: I recently discovered a magical, little waterfall near my home, tucked high up in the wood-covered mountains. This place captured me with its rustling leaves and dancing waters. I stood there for awhile watching the stream rush and trip over rocks of all sizes, letting a sweet contentment fill me as I thought of my 'place in all this'. And a quote came to mind by Ralph Waldo Emerson:
"Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience."

This hymn by James H. Wallis resonates strongly with me. Our world is increasingly chaotic, wearisome, and perhaps even broken... but we know there is peace and steadiness to be had in Christ.
Wallis' words perfectly capture my hopes for that celestial day when all mankind will be united in devotion– devotion to one another, devotion to doing what is good + right, and devotion to the God that gave us life. As Wallis' hymn continues, "we will dwell 'mid truth and light", "love and beauty", singing "the songs of praise".
