About the Artwork:
Pyromantic Ascension: A young witch aflame, outcast, amidst the darkness
Moonlit Shrine: The smell of incense basks a deserted shrine, prayers are whispered in confidence to the moon
Prophetic Omen: An omen of events yet to come, a desire to take control of one's future
Symmetric Kraken: A cosmic being with a lifespan as long as its appendages, bestower of wisdom and power in equal measure
Null//Void: The passing of a familiar follows the passing of a witch -- the inevitable fate of any such contract
About the Artist: As a lab technician at the University of Utah, I get most of my inspiration from the organic, natural shapes that I see daily beneath the microscope. In my free time, I enjoy creating detailed illustrations with emphasis on shape and composition. My business card series portrays the story of an outcast witch who embarks on a journey to alter their fate. I'm excited to be showing my work at JKR alongside my partner, Olivia Dawson.
