Artist Bio: As long as I can remember, I have always loved art. I love seeing art, learning about art, and making my own art. Oil painting has given me a second life after raising my family. I love gathering common dimensional objects, grouping them, arranging them, rearranging them, and then recreating them on a flat surface in such a way they tell a story or illustrate a concept. I am encouraged when I can paint inanimate objects that inspire the viewer with thoughts of comfort, familiarity, wonder, surprise, and, most of all, further contemplation.
