Little Red

About: Little Red forgot her mother’s caution not to dawdle and took the wolf’s advice to enjoy the beauty of the forest. She chased butterflies, gathered flowers, and was so mesmerized by the beauty all around her that she barely noticed the darkness over taking the sky.

Thumbelina

About: There once was a woman who wished very much to have a child. But wish as she might, it seemed she would never have one. Finally she turned to the faeries, and asked them how she might find a little one to care for. They gave her a seed and told her to tend to it and see what would happen. The seed grew and grew in her care into a beautiful tulip, and when the tulip opened a little maiden emerged, no bigger than the size of your thumb.

Goldie

About: There once was a girl named Goldilocks with beautiful long golden hair. One day Goldie was walking through the woods and got lost. Feeling oh so tired and in need of a nap, she happened upon the most charming little cottage. Surely, she thought, the owners will have a little place for me to rest and get my bearings before heading back out to find home.

The Princess & the Pea

About: The Princess tossed and turned but try as she might, and even with all those extra mattresses, she just couldn’t get comfortable. “This is it!” She though with sleepless despair. “I’ll never again have a cozy restful night!” All the while the pea sat nestled down in the mattresses below, the Princess sleeplessly passing a test she didn’t know she was being given.

The Slipper

About: Cinderella ran, terrified for her beautiful dress to turn back into rags and expose her as someone who didn’t belong. As she ran her foot caught and she felt the glass slipper her godmother had given her come off in the stumble. She didn’t have time to go back for it with a crowd forming to chase after her. She left it and dashed quickly through the woods towards home.

Down the Rabbit Hole

About: Alice saw the white rabbit dart down a dark hole and, determined to catch up with him, she followed and fell down, down the curious hole. It was more a float than a fall really, and there were so many wondrous things to discover on her way down.

Let Down Your Hair

About: Locked away in her tower, Rapunzel dreamed of adventure. Sometimes she would go out to her balcony, gaze out at the sunset and fantasize that someday someone would find her, hidden away as she was, and she’d let down her hair for them to climb up and comfort her. Together they would devise a plan for her to escape the wretched confines of her sad, lonely tower.
