About the Artwork: This is a series of seven pieces, all about a late summer walk... A day of memories complete Kids finally tucked in their dirty feet finally laying still in their sheets She ventures out to clear her mind A quiet walk to soak in the last bit of warm air just for her The cool of night slowly rolls in Glowy skies with pink-kissed clouds Past the dew drenched lawns and still-warm pavement are tall, gently swaying grasses and the crunch of gravel trails welcoming her solo stroll A slight sparkle of fireflies and rhythm of crickets saying their goodnight She breathes slowly soaking in the night air and seeing all of Nature’s beauty she usually rushes past The still vibrance of evening awes and enchants and she is revived, grateful for it all.
