About the Artist:
Louisa Mae Hunter was raised in California’s Central Valley around farming and agriculture. Growing up in an artistic household she was engaged in the arts throughout her youth. Beginning murals in high school to pay her way through college. Louisa received her BA in painting from Brigham Young University Idaho where she studied under landscape and wildlife painter Leon Parson, Brian Astle and Shae Warnick. She now lives in Bountiful Utah with her husband, Jared, and is an avid landscape painter and muralist.
