Artist Bio: Maggie Anne Miller is a self-taught figurative painter based in the American Southeast, a region historically saturated in myth and mysticism. Her acrylic paintings on wood interpret the emotions and physical responses of transcendent experience. Maggie balances her time between painting and her graduate work in Early Modern Literature and Religion at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
