About the Artist: Maile Jefferies, age 24, raised in Spanish Fork UT, has a deep appreciation for the beauty of the earth. She is often found observing the world around her down to the smallest detail, such as the texture of a flower petal. In 2021, Maile received her BA from Brigham Young University in Art History and Curatorial Studies. In her spare time she enjoys acrylic painting, cooking, and playing with her dog. Maile’s favorite subjects to paint are elements of nature and still life. In her art she not only tries to capture the beauty of these subjects, but also their soul.
