I love the beauty in nature and strive to capture that in my paintings. I’m a contemporary impressionist and I endeavor to convey what a tightly rendered picture or photograph can't. Keeping my palette simple and relying on my ability to see nuances of color & light I describe the world with paint. Through my paintings I hope to convey a suggestion of things that can only be felt. I discovered early on that I had a talent for art and I have gravitated toward it ever since. I have studied under various artists as well as received a bachelor of fine arts degree, but ultimately I'm a self-taught artist.
