About the Artist: Having been brought up in Utah, Zoe Elwood is an artist who has been greatly influenced by the beautifully diverse American Southwest terrain. She often alludes to the landscape around her, utilizing emotive imagery to create an introspective and expressive quality. With this business card series her intent is to connect with her audience on an intimate level, drawing upon hazy memories she works to capture a feeling within each piece that others might relate to and linger on. As a fine art student in the BFA program at UVU, Zoe regularly works with a range of drawing, printmaking and painting materials, admittedly though, oil paint is her favorite medium.
