Artist Bio: Growing up in Utah, with its majestic mountains, stark deserts and everything in between, these landscapes are the anchors (or backdrops?) of my memories as a child and now with my own family. Both on foot and with paint, I love exploring what is just outside my door. Using the patterns, shapes and textures that I see, I try to capture a moment in time of a landscape, rather than trying to exactly reproduce the scene.
